Despite the hardships I faced growing up, I always had a fire within me to create a better life for myself. Witnessing my family’s struggles and sacrifices fueled my determination to break free from the cycle of poverty. At the tender age of seven, I began making Barbie clothes to sell at school, using my creativity as a means to earn money.

As I entered my early twenties, I had achieved what I believed to be my dream life. I had purchased my own house and car, and I thought I had everything I needed. Little did I know, life had other plans for me. In a devastating turn of events, my home was engulfed in a massive fire, leaving me with almost nothing. It was a harsh reminder that material possessions can be taken away in an instant.

Although I lost my physical belongings, I still had the most precious gift of all – my life. However, the trauma of the fire took a toll on my health, leaving me sick and vulnerable. Yet, I was not alone in my journey to rebuild. With the unwavering support of my parents and friends, I found the strength to recover and start anew.

This experience taught me the true meaning of resilience. It showed me that no matter how much we may lose, as long as we have the will to keep going, we can overcome any obstacle. I am grateful every single day for the beautiful life I have been given, and I cherish the lessons I have learned along the way.

Now, I use my story as a source of inspiration for others. I share my journey of resilience, reminding people that setbacks are not the end, but rather an opportunity for growth. Life may throw unexpected challenges our way, but it is our response to those challenges that defines us.

I am a living testament to the power of resilience and the strength that lies within each of us. My past may have shaped me, but it does not define me. I am a survivor, a fighter, and I will continue to embrace every moment of this beautiful life, knowing that I am capable of overcoming anything that comes my way.

The 3 most important skills that I have acquired are:

1. Graphic design:
This skill is valuable in creating visually appealing content and can be useful in various fields such as marketing, social media, and content creation.

2. Financial management:
This skill is crucial for managing your finances effectively, tracking expenses, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions.

3. Image consulting:
Become an image consultant, which involves helping customers dress themselves to achieve their goals. This skill involves understanding fashion, personal style, and how to enhance one’s appearance to create a positive impression.

These skills are diverse and can be beneficial in different aspects of your personal and professional life. They demonstrate your ability to be self-sufficient, creative, and provide value to others.

My advice for folks who are early in their journey and want to develop or improve on these skills or areas of knowledge would be:

1. Take advantage of online resources and tutorials: There are plenty of free or affordable resources available online that can help you learn and improve your skills. Look for tutorials, courses, or forums where you can learn from experts or connect with others who are also learning.
